Limestone

 

Limestone is most often used in driveway or road applications, but it can be an interesting addition to any landscape.  It can range in size from "fines" to 8 inches.

Natural Stone ranges in size from pea pebbles to boulders.  Because of its variety, it has a wide array of uses.  It is commonly used for drainage in construction applications and as a decorative stone in landscaping.

Sand

 

Sand is a granular material most commonly used in construction applications. It is classified by the size of its particles and the amount of stone in it.

 

 Topsoil & Compost

 

Topsoil is organically rich material used for growing all types of vegetation. In its natural state, the soil may contain impurities such as plant roots, but it can be screened to remove unwanted debris. It is typically deep brown in color and can have a clay or sandy base.

Compost is decomposed organic material. It is an excellent source of nutrition for plants.

 

Mulch

 

Mulch is loose wood chips or bark that is placed over the soil to control weeds and help retain soil moisture.
